Join with others this summer and explore different faith tradition teachings about the environment. We’ll all read and discuss some “big picture” material and then dip into collected readings from the Jewish, Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Muslim, and Indigenous faiths. Together we’ll share our learnings and examine the relevancy of faith in addressing today’s environmental issues. Along the way we’ll each deepen our spirit-based view of creation.

It was scrumptious to spend a recent Sunday afternoon reading Anne Lamott again. It has been a few years since I’ve read anything by her and it was so good to revisit a few of her main themes – humility and grace.

The world, we are told, was made especially for man — a presumption not supported by all the facts…
