About Carol Hohle

Carol is an educator, communications specialist, and environmental & spiritual activist.

She recently completed her studies at Andover Newton Theological School as a graduate student successfully defending her thesis in the Psychology and Religion Master of Arts degree program.  During her time at school she experienced a profound, personal ecological conversion.  She then went on to study about religious environmental themes and wrote about the intersection of faith and the environment in her thesis.  She has been pursuing a greener life ever since.  Active in her town’s community farm, climate group, and interfaith activities, she is a champion for the shift in consciousness she feels is vital in order for humanity to successfully navigate through its current economic and environmental challenges.

Prior to her graduate studies, Carol worked in the communications field for more than two decades.  Between 1994 – 2000 she launched a publishing imprint in five countries for the seminal religious text by Mary Baker Eddy.  More than one million copies of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures were sold.  Carol also helped a franchise chain, serving the spirituality niche, refresh its image and improve its ability to meet the needs of their communities in hundreds of locales.

Creating an environmentally sustainable, spiritually fulfilling and socially just human presence on this planet is Carol’s passion.  She speaks, leads workshops & retreats on the subject of spiritual practices and eco-spirituality.  She also enjoys sharing her communication skills and consulting with non-profit and eco-friendly organizations and service providers.
